Unlock an Inventory Allocation

Inventory Allocations are automatically locked when being used in active offers. To edit an Inventory Allocation that is being used in one or more active Offers, the Inventory Allocation must first be unlocked. 

Before you begin

Before unlocking an inventory allocation, any active offers using the inventory allocation must first be placed on hold.

 

Unlock an inventory allocation

1. Go to the Offers menu in the Sales sidebar and click Inventory Allocations.

   After placing an inventory allocation's active offers on hold, from the offer's page you can click on the offers' inventory allocation to be taken to the inventory allocation page.

2. Click the inventory allocation's Bamboo ID in the Bamboo ID column.                
3. Click Unlock.                                                                                                                                           
4. Click Confirm to confirm unlocking the Inventory Allocation.
   • The inventory allocation will be unlocked and can be edited as needed.  When the inventory allocation's related offer(s) has been reactivated, the inventory will automatically be locked.
