Productivity

The Productivity module allows you to create and assign product creation tasks to employees. 

Track time spent on tasks, break durations, and the number of finished units produced, all in one place.

Productivity also tracks Units on Hand for each end product. This value represents the quantity required to fulfill approved Sales Orders in the CRM, helping ensure accurate inventory alignment and smoother order fulfillment.

 

Getting Started:

 

1. Add Employees

Navigate to the Employees tab and select Add. Enter the employee’s name.

Note: Employees added here are not required to have their own Bamboo login.

2. Create Tasks

Go to the Employee Tasks tab and select Actions → Edit Task Settings. Click Add, then enter a name for the new task.

3. Assign Tasks to Employees

In the Employee Tasks tab, select Add and complete the following fields:

  • Employee Name

  • Task*

  • End Product*

  • Start Date and Time

Press Start to assign the task to the employee.

4. Create and Assign Labels

You can create up to 10 custom labels to organize and track tasks.

Labels can be added in two ways:

  • Select a task, then choose Actions → Labels

  • Hover over the Labels column and click + Label

To create a new label or edit an existing one, select Manage Labels.

5. Log Hours, Breaks, and Output

Once a task is created, it will appear in the Employee Tasks tab. To log time, breaks, or output:

  • Hover over the column you want to edit, click the pencil icon, and enter the information
    or

  • Select the three-dot menu on the right and choose Edit

Demand:

 

The Demand tab displays all end sales products along with their corresponding Units on Hand.

Units on Hand represents the inventory currently available to fulfill approved sales orders. This value differs from Units in Stock in the Inventories module:

  • Approved sales orders automatically deduct from Units on Hand

  • Canceled orders return inventory to Units on Hand

This ensures accurate tracking of demand and inventory availability across the CRM.
