Adding Orders (Without Creating an IA/Offer)

You now have the option to add orders without first creating an Inventory Allocation (IA) and Offer. That said, we still recommend using IAs and Offers if you have sales reps or need to set inventory counts.

To quickly add an order:

  1. Navigate to the Orders module and click Add.

  2. Select the customer you’d like to create an order for, then follow the prompts.

  3. Use filters to search for products and samples, or search directly without applying filters.

  4. (Optional) Choose which Offer to pull quantities from. You can also edit prices if needed.

Once submitted, your customer will receive a Purchase Order (PO) by email. After order approval, you’ll be able to allocate and manifest the order in Trace.
