Before using this feature, please verify that the User Key for the corresponding license has the correct permissions in Metrc. Navigate to the employee or admin whose User Key is in Bamboo, and ensure they have permission to manage product labels.
Metrc Retail IDs are not required in all states, but some vendors may request them. Bamboo has made it easy to create your retail IDs; however, please note that retail IDs created in Metrc cannot be synced into Bamboo (Metrc does not support this functionality).
We strongly recommend creating retail IDs in either Metrc or Bamboo—not both. For a more streamlined process, it's best to create them in Bamboo. Additionally, only lots and products that have passed QA will be eligible for retail ID generation.
To begin, you can either create a new inventory label or add to an existing one.
The key variable you need is the Metrc Retail ID.
Once you've completed your label, go to Inventory > Lotted > End Products and select the lot for which you want to generate an inventory label.
Choose your desired options. In Bamboo you can also specify the exact amount of Retail ID's you'd like to print:
You can either save the file as a PDF or preview it.
Click "OK" to generate your Metrc Retail ID(s).
Please note that previewed labels are only placeholders. You must click Save to generate the final product labels.
