Unlotted vs Lotted Inventory

Unlotted Inventory:

Once a harvest is completed and closed, the harvested materials will be considered unlotted inventory once assigned to inventory rooms.

Once confirmed, the materials from the harvest will be under Inventory > Unlotted. Unlotted Inventory is not yet assigned to any product and is categorized as either flower, other material, or waste.

Lotted Inventory:

Lotted inventory refers to material that was taken from the unlotted harvest material and assigned to a source product, that is then able to be converted into an end product later.

Once assigned to a source product and lotted, each lot created will receive a unique Lot ID. The lots will appear under Inventory > Lotted > Source Products. From there the lots can be sampled for QA testing and converted into end products.

Source vs End Products:

Source Products are bulk product measured in total weight of the lot. This would include anything not individually packaged such as bulk flower or concentrate.

End Products are final products that are packaged individually and ready for sale. End product lots are measured by the quantity of units in stock of the end product assigned. This would include pre-rolls, packaged flower, cartridges, etc.
