Bamboo allows you to change product names specifically for your labels. For example, if you have a very long product name that you want to simplify for labels, but still want the longer name on the Sales Menu, you can use the Label Name field in the individual product settings.
Example:
To do this, navigate to Products > Products. Select one or more products you want to assign a Label Name.
Alternatively, click on an individual product, go to Name & Description, and you will find the Label Name field where you can add the desired label name for the product.
After adding the Label Name to the product(s), the Name field in the labels module will use the Label Name instead of the Product Name.
After successfully processing an order through manual allocation, auto allocation, manual conversion, or auto conversion, you will be able to download the product labels for your order. If you use both the Label Name and Name variables on your label, it will pull from the Label Name. If the Label Name is blank, it will pull from the Product Name.
